I just ordered my christmas cards from The Gorey Store, not to send but to add to my collection. Earlier this week I was at a thrift store and came accross a bunch of Edward Gorey christmas cards for 50 cents each. Although I bought a select few to send out, this year I decided to collect his Christmas cards. One box every year for as long as they are available. This particular illustration is entitled, "She Knitted Mufflers Endlessly" and was originally published in Gorey's book The Glorious Nosebleed. Perfect for a knitter such as myself! I got so excited I decided to post it as my wallpaper.....
