Me at 5 years old

Despite what this picture might insinuate, I do not enjoy sailing nor have I ever been a sailor, although I did end up married to one. I'm actually a freelance writer and graphic artist by day and complete knitting addict and Blogger by night. I love yarn and needle crafts, among other things, and I use this blog to share my adventures in knitting with other self-proclaimed yarn-o-philes.

Along with my love of knitting, I'm also a huge fan of cute cuddly kitties (which I post about quite liberally), Cardigan sweaters (no matter the weather, as I am always perpetually cold) and I have a fondness for what one may consider odd. Yup. Pretty much odd things in general. I'm definitely the girl who can go to a pet shop selling cute puppies and leave with the ugliest one feeling as if I have met my soul mate! Oh, yeah! I also love Hello Kitty, monster and food knitting, listening to James Taylor, reading historical novels and I have been known to purchase yarn without so much as an idea as to what I will be knitting with it.
